Matei Zaharia
Matei Zaharia is the creator of Apache Spark, co-founder and Chief Technologist at Databricks, and an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University. He started Spark during his PhD at UC Berkeley, cofounded Stanford’s DAWN Lab, and has worked on widely used open-source data analytics and AI systems including Delta Lake.
