foreign I'm a PhD student at UC Berkeley and here are three reasons to attend my talk about Hydro a new way to write streaming dataflow applications first Hydra is a research project we've been developing at Berkeley we have lots of papers are added so you'll get to see some of the cutting-edge research around distributed Systems Second Hydra is a real system it's a dataflow DSL written in Rust and you can try it out in your own applications and third will be actually exploring a lot of the ways you can use hydro today to build things like chat apps and other services and and take a look into the future at some ways we're going to be applying Concepts like crdts to make developing distributed systems a lot easier hope to see you there
