hi I'm Oprah mendeleevich I head developer relations at Victora and I'm excited to speak at scale by the Bay I've been working with large language models since early 2020 when gpt2 was state of the art I've had the opportunity to work in this space and see firsthand the progress that has been made over the last three years it's truly incredible one area that remains challenging is llm hallucinations the times when you ask jpd a question and it responds very confidently with a completely wrong answer I think most of you have seen examples of this already in this talk I will explain why llms hallucinate and describe various approaches to eliminating hallucinations in particular I will describe victora's grounded generation platform which enables developers to build their own gen AI applications with their own data while significantly reducing hallucinations join me to learn more about this important aspect of building gen AI applications I hope to see you there foreign [Applause]
