my name is Xander I'm the founder and CEO of bite wax so it was the company I started i b wax so I often use um uh chat GPT to help like unblock writing um and to create images uh well I use mid Journey or Dolly 3 to create uh uh images for blog posts um maybe a little bit with uh reviewing code or just like helping me it's basically like uh I'll go to using um different gener of AI tools where when I just need a quick way to get unstuck so that's primarily it is like get unblocked and maybe try and move a little bit faster um yeah I want to use it to like run my calendar and everything but it's just not there yet soon maybe so everything I do is related to bwax obviously um and bwax is an open source project and we are launching a um platform which is the commercial part of the company um so most of what I'll be doing in the near future uh is focused around that so like building the right features um pricing packaging uh Revenue everything on that side side of the business it would be my focus well I just gave a talk this morning which is nice because I'll have more time to tomorrow to to uh go to some of the talks but I am running a booth and it's just me um because all he tied up with other things so I probably won't get to see any of the talks uh yeah otherwise I was going to try and pop in and see what cark um from data breaks was going to talk about uh because he's going to talk about streaming data which is my area um uh Lizzy from twilio her talk because I have this if I didn't have my day job I would try and build some text based like uh agent because I hate spending time in different applications and I wish I could just like do all of it through text so I would try and build something witho maybe so I would go to hers um yeah I think there are many more but that are looking really cool but I don't think I'll get to go more than maybe just those two it's an independent conference I mean there are sponsors obviously um but it's not uh one company that's sort of dictating what is spoken about um which is actually becoming a rarity U most conferences you go to today uh are generally like a um run by one or or many uh companies so that that's um why I would say is a good reason to come um to make sure that we like continue to have these independent conferences uh the location was cool um I don't know if it will be in Oakland again but I haven't been to Oakland since I lived here basically so uh it was cool to come back and the building's cool um yeah and it seems well organized and people who are here some I've had thought really thoughtful conversations and so it's been it's been nice uh yeah
