I'm Pete hunt and I'm CEO at dager Labs at Daxter Labs we use AI primarily to help Engineers be more effective with products like GitHub co-pilot we also use products like chat gbt to help us with uh augmenting some copyrighting applications yeah so we're working on doubling down on our existing Investments this year so uh with both our open source and our Cloud product we're doubling down on features like data quality declarative scheduling and cost management one my favorite talks was by Lou Brandy the from Facebook talking about uh realtime spam and abuse detection it's a problem that worked on in the past and I think it's just fascinating because it's real time it's adversarial um and it costs a lot of money for services to run these these systems so uh there's a really interesting problem space there and I thought it was a great talk yeah I mean I think scale by the bay is best attendees and best speakers uh by far I mean it's my people are like functional programming people and they all arrive right here at scale by the bay and so I think that you take that great crowd and then you also have really good theme selection and so you get this kind of crowd of people that have really good CS fundamentals and then um they're talking about like some of the most Cutting Edge problems in in data and technology and AI
