hi my name is kindall rhen I work for a company called diagrid and I a technical product manager so at diagrid we're really focused on uh the distributed application runtime project it's a cloud native Computing Foundation project which enables developers to build large scale distributed applications and so we're really invested in that project uh we have the 112 release that just came out uh you know within the past couple of months and we'll continue to iterate on making Dapper a more uh you know widely accessible and adoptable project for a variety of different development audiences uh so we're really invested in in efforts there and then in addition we're also building great tooling and products on top of dapper to help uh customers run uh Dapper at scale on kubernetes and we recently launched a new product called cat Catalyst um actually within the past week right before scale by the bay which enables developers to use a set of distributed application um building block apis from any hosting platform so think multicloud you know gcp AWS and really unlocks the power of Open Source Dapper uh from kubernetes so we're really focused on you know incubating that project and taking it to the next level yeah so I I'm not as much in the AI space so it's really interesting to just get exposure to what different organizations are doing within the you know the AI um space and seeing how they're using it in their projects there's also a couple of talks really about just like open source and how to integrate with open source projects even I think a kubernetes Ingress talk a little bit about the history there which is interesting so looking forward to diving into kind of the variety that skill by the Bay has to offer so one thing that I really appreciate about this conference is it has a lot of character so even the venue right just having a lot of really cool uh you know rooms to present in and it feels very easy everyone's very friendly and kind of just open to conversation it seems like there's a lot of just really neat developers doing a lot on The Cutting Edge and so if you want to engage with those type of developers and be able to to meet with them in a really neat environment I think scale by the bay is a great opportunity
