hi my name is the banker I'm a Staff data Advocate at one house. one house. is uh building a helping build a lak house platform with Apache hoodi as uh the Open Table format and you know that's something that we are working on right now we are also involved in a couple of Open Source projects like Apache hoodie uh one table quite recently as well yeah so I'm personally involved in the open source space mostly with the Apache projects uh so Apache hoodie is something that I work for advocacy and you know building the community around and the second thing that I'm excited to talk about is one table that we just released today it's a new open source project that will help people to do interoperable table format things so basically you can build you know your data platform in one table format and you can basically interoperate between different table formats I'm super excited to I was super excited to meet Julian Lim um you know I have been a big um a follower of his open source work uh so his talk on 10 years of Open Source was really uh I inspiring and how we build out a project from like par Apache Aro so that something was uh really um you know something that I look forward to and I really enjoyed it yeah so I personally learned a lot so much from the scale by Bas previous conferences like specifically around distributed systems uh so that was for me like when I got accepted as a speaker it was really like a great moment for me because I know there is a lot of learnings Happening Here really great talks around like specific areas like Ai and ml uh you know distributed system most importantly so I think uh this is one of the place that has to you have to be here in case you're interested in this kind of like detailed technical talks um you know avoiding this marketing Jaret and stuff yeah
