uh my name is Obby press uh I'm the founder and CEO of scarf uh scarf is a company that provides usage analytics and sales intelligence for open source projects so I guess for me personally I use AI a little bit I think for things like writing job posts or doing the kind of content creation that's like a little bit more wrote will tend to um use AI tools um yeah I guess for you know looking things up I think definitely is becoming more and more kind of you know Google and stack Overflow alternative um as well and then I think kind of more in the long run we're looking at how we can incorporate AI techniques to better surface insight out of like a massive amount of data that we're collecting for our users and customers you know so there's like lots of Open Source downloads and Page views and these kinds of things like what actually matters in that data um and so we're looking at kind of machine learning and AI techniques to do that at scale yeah so there's some of those things about like how do you provide better insights um out of this data um you know other things coming up for this year for us um we're going to have more native support for other programming languages um and just to have kind of a more ergonomic experience if you're coming in from you know other languages like we do Python and Docker really well right now you know Ruby PHP not so much these kinds of things like that um we're also making more Integrations so that you can actually pump out all the data that you have in our platform into like your CRM or you know your wherever you're doing your business intelligence kind of stuff um yeah so I think it's just like a lot more of the same stuff that we do but just kind of at a broader scale and different ecosystems and that kind of thing yeah for me I think there's a couple of good hle talks that are particularly intriguing uh being someone in the hle space I'm also giving a hle talk today I think I'm definitely very curious to kind of see what's what's going on in that world here yeah let's see I mean I would describe it as just a you know a um a an intimate a more intimate conference that's very focused on uh functional programming and things that are are related to that which I think are not super common I think definitely a good place to meet other people in the functional programming space applications of that kind of programming um and I guess also personally the fact that it's in Oakland is awesome as a Oakland resident myself
