[Music] hi my name is aliona and i'm ceo and one of the co-founders of thematic we analyze customer feedback to help companies improve customer experience my background is in natural language processing i have a phd in computer science specializing in how to extract meaning from text i'm excited to speak at scale by the way and in my presentation i will cover three things first how to commercialize technology how to move from i have this very cool technology and i want to start getting customers and growing a team growing a product building a product two i will talk about my journey transitioning from being a researcher to becoming a ceo and all the things i've learned along the way and three how to scale a team across time zones in a remote first environment so no offices everybody's remote and how to scale both the team and the customer base regardless of where you are because we're spread all around the world and so are our customers if this is interesting come to my talk looking forward to meeting you
