I'm just in Kaiser here's my badge I work in a wonderful city of Munich Germany for JetBrains I develop software for software developers namely I work on the Scala plugin for IntelliJ IDEA yeah as I mentioned I work on the Scala plugin for IntelliJ I specifically focus on build tool integration up to now that's been mostly SBT recently well over the course of this year I've also worked on BSP the build server protocol together with the scallop Center and the goal here is to make it easier to integrate new build tools without having explicit support for each and every one of them which has been a limiting factor so far for us I don't know it's hard to delineate the stuff there's been talks in any of them which have been interesting [Music] how did Skylar change my life well I just happen to happen into this job that JetBrains with which has the best in the best one so for me so far and I got into contact with a lot of the Scala community which has been very valuable and I hope I can I can help improve the Scala ecosystem with my work intact it's another conference where it's where I really get to meet people that I've met in other places again and reconnect so and and I've met several new people so and connected with them so I think this will will be continued to be valuable
