you my name is Susan huyn and I'm a software engineer at mesosphere how I got into Scala my entire team decided that we were going to go in this all-new Scala and so I just kind of Dover right in I had a project that I had to work with spark and spark has a good Scala API so I just just learning on the job okay my ideal stack well since I'm working atmosphere it's built on top of mesas and usually running spark as a compute engine I work with HDFS and kansara as data stores and I don't know I guess that is my actual stack so those are the same the type level talk the keynote that I heard yesterday was really interesting so it was really great to be able to hear from I get I guess he was a founder than miles
