you my name is Kelly Robinson I am a engineering team lead leading the optimization and data science team at a company called share through here in San Francisco I started programming in Scala at a company that I was hired into about four years ago they were using skull on the backend I didn't know Scala before I started there i'm just going to learned it as part of the job my ideal stack is whatever makes my team productive and in terms of my actual stack right now we're using a mixture of Scala and spark as well as Ruby Python JavaScript and anything that we need to basically display data process data interpret data [Music] i'm looking forward to stewarts stewarts talk this afternoon and Julie's keynote tomorrow morning you [Music]
