yeah so Scala I was doing I was getting into big data analytics at a start-up and we were using Ruby believe it or not and it just became obvious after and that was in my choice and after a while it became obvious that that was too slow and we needed something faster we wanted to do real-time analytics and volume of data you know it was not gonna be easy to deal with something like Ruby so I looked into at a time some a co-worker of mine found Scala actually and I looked into it and I found some really neat libraries like akka for doing Street you know stream processing so we got into that and you know the prototype worked really well and that actually developed into a product and and after that we just kept on you know doing more and more things it's gone Oh ideal stack well I think hmm it's probably it's probably a little bit different because I work in data as opposed to like servers you know but I feel like I'm mostly working on my ideal stack in other words I work with SPARC and Cassandra SPARC is written in Scala already we work with akka like everyday you know so so there's only a few things that were held back by such as we're still on Scala 2.10 because our our version of SPARC is on teeth hands that are some limitations there it'd be nicer to go forward with to eleven to twelve and so forth and use newer versions of libraries but the stack is pretty much what one just not as new as we want but it basically unfortunately I'll only be here today but I all of them sound really interesting to be honest so it's going to be difficult to it's going to be difficult to pick [Music]
