you my name is Dave cleaver I work for comcast i'm a senior principal engineer and tech lead on one of our platform projects i became interested in scala maybe seven or eight years ago I really sort of was self-taught so I was learning a lot of stuff from books and from online talks and experimentation I took the the Coursera course that Martin offered at that point I was fairly far along in my self education but i still even learned stuff from that so i have driven a lot of self learning on that [Music] hmm not sure how to answer that one so we use play right now pretty heavily for for our service development I think I want something maybe a little simpler because it's maybe a little bit of overkill for what we do we also use acha under the hood I'd like to look into FS to as probable as maybe a new ideal stack for that but we'll experiment and see where we go I'm really looking forward to rob Norris's talk on functional database techniques so that's I'm excited to see that one you
