I'm Daniel Urban. I work at Nokia Bell Labs where I am a research engineer. What do you think about Akka? First I started learning it on weekends in my free time and then after about a year at the company there was a possibility to use Akka for a small project. We started using it, it was great and so now we are using it for more projects basically. It probably contains Scala somewhere in it. What I would really like is to have basically everything compile time checked. So we would like to know any errors at compile time or as soon as possible. But in our actual stack we sometimes have to use things which are not so much compile time checked

What do you think about this conference? Yeah. Okay. Well actually a lot of things. This is my first Scala conference. I don't know, for example I use Shapeless and I think it's really great and actually my sub in, the author of Shapeless is here. Also I'm using cats, a lot of the cats authors are here. So a lot of things actually.
