you I I first got into Scala after kind of while taking a sabbatical and worked on it for personal projects and really enjoyed learning it and getting to know it and the nice thing about learning Scala from coming from a Java background is you can write very java ee scala and then go back and rewrite it and more of the patterns that that you've learned and it's really exciting to see that happen and then when having the opportunity to to use it and write it for for euro as we're starting off and using it for our cloud it made perfect sense of the language I loved and one that I knew could handle the task my ideal stack is very very close to the stock that we use today because I got to to determine it and decide what we were using I can't think of pieces that I would actually be pulling out so our stack is a scholar running on the play framework taking advantage of slick and taking a lot of advantage of akka and actor clusters so that's a huge part in when I just gave the talk on was was that we're using postgres is the database also using Cassandra and a lot of different data tools such as spark um it was actually really fun to see kind of a build up through the talks this morning and the two leading up to mine were on very similar topics and kind of related and so we went from there very general intent of an overview to two more specific in one use case and I got to talk on another use case and how we use the the same tools people had already been hearing about that looking forward to tomorrow morning and hearing a couple of the good talks there and finding out how other people are using skull and some of these tools to solve their problems you
