you hi my name is Sasha sanken I'm data and analytics engineer at uber I got interested so I have a background in mathematics and mathematical physics and I'm always on the lookout for interesting things so a few years ago I came across Cola and I saw that it was a awesome solution for some of the problem in particular in data data problems and problems of promise of processing data and scalable manner and that's how I got involved I was at LinkedIn and we basically started using it for for creating data processes or data products winded up you know the writing a big part of like content generation system at LinkedIn and scholar it was it was a pretty good validation I think ideal stuck the yeah the question of ideal stack depends on really on the application and how how do you see the progress of your application in some i would say midterm you don't want to build for five years ahead because you don't know what's going to happen and you don't want to keep rewriting your system every two weeks so you need to set yourself up for certain horizon say okay with in first with it with incoming half a year this is this is my problem and then your your problems mean for example look at distribution like how what what level scalability gonna you need that there and be please be very practical about because people start designing system with scalability and then they end designing designing system with scalability that nobody uses so so it is it is very important to be practical about what you do it's really hard to pick single one so far there was a lot of a lot of very interesting talks I was enjoy hearing talks bioscrip boykin so algebra it's also someone a personal note scouting was a one first like big big framework I was worked with so that that kind of got me involved in the skull so so his talks are always a very informative and very interesting the war with me let me remember there were do some some pretty awesome interesting in inches to you know there are too many to remember it's uh it's it's an awesome conference all of it you
