you my name is hunter pain I am a staff a software engineer at Credit Karma well I got involved with Scala when i joined Credit Karma did they use a lot of Scala so the choices were scholar PHP so i chose Scala and I basically learned it mostly on the job which wasn't too bad I've alot experience in Prolog and Lisp and super sweats in Java so learning list for learning scala was it that heart [Music] so a big part of my talk was about the fact that there really isn't an ideal stack there's only a stack for that solves the problem that you had on in that particular moment I do I am a fan of certain technologies over others I spent a lot of my career writing databases so I tend to be bigger fan of acid databases I tend to be bigger fans of things that can handle relational algebra Larry well things to speak sequel but there isn't really a perfect stack I do like the stack we would use a credit karma there are things I would like to change about it to improve about it but that'll always be the case I [Music] really enjoyed Zach Lowe bagel men and Dustin lines talk on arca streams on Friday you
