my name is Xiao fan my company is work day and I'm an engineering manager honestly it's my first time having spoken it something like this and so it's the kind of thing able to share what I'm working on with all these really smart people and try to connect with them these days to be honest I'm my background is more engineering not really a data scientist but certainly what I like is a passionate here is about by improving search I think because like searches and everything we do and if we can make search work really well like it saves a lot of people a lot of time I hadn't really thought about that I really just kind of wanted to share basically what our approach was to what I think is a unique and interesting problem ah well so far my path in that direction has been I've been an engineer working next to lots of great data scientists I've had so in particular and the stuff I've been working on the the other data scientists around me on adjacent teams have been a lot of great help in like teaching me kind of the ropes of what's what
