I'm sigh motor head of data science at ginger that I oh I think it was really interesting to see all these people from the area especially healthcare data scientists from healthcare companies that's not something that I see a lot of at other places I think that was really exciting I think data is starting to get more mainstream but it's really exciting in the health space because it hasn't traditionally been used well and that's why there's so much opportunity to have an impact with data and there's you know so many companies are trying to do that of course there's a lot of challenges especially if you're trying to integrate with the healthcare system well as consumer driven stuff is a little easier in you know in that integration is not required but I on either side this little me opportunities for our talk I think I really wanted them to understand how data is integrated into a solution because ours is a medical solution a care solution right and there's a human layer there's coaches this therapist and so on and data really needs to meet those requirements of care delivery and so it's really about that is really about the application and I think that's what I wanted to convey okay so obviously the starting point is you know to get all the basics and stand and also make sure that you're interested right I've seen people do this a little bit and then you know like oh I'm not going to do this with respect right so uh basics obviously is the first thing but I think application when when you are working a start-up or the industry and doing this applying what you learned is really key and that means that you have to understand that domain understand the problem you're solving and so on so it's really important to have work or try to work on various things various projects various problems that helps you understand these domains helps you build a solution that and working on multiple projects and problems really helps you build that intuition for how to think about these problems I think that I think that's the difference between getting great you
