my name is Mahalakshmi and i'm a senior software engineer at netflix i work on real time data infrastructure I think the conference is attracts really good candidates and the quality of the conference in the presentation is pretty high I was here at the one that was last year and was pretty good I think it leads to the fact that we are generating a lot of data that we did in the past and we want more insights into it than we did before there's a lot to learn from it as well and that's one Avenue where you know there's more supply so and there's more insights any one more out of it so the one important aspect of that is the real time streaming data is going to be ubiquitous every everywhere reason and the need for processing the data in real time and getting the insights as fast as possible who have a huge impact on businesses and knowing how to build infrastructure and pipelines so that it makes it easier for an organization to quickly analyze the data at scale and keep up with innovation that's something that you're trying to do it a netflix envelope pipeline hopefully we can import our learnings to the folks at and are within their talks I'm more of the infrastructure engineer than a data scientist but I have a few friends were really good data scientist and one thing I've seen is just get your hands dirty and look at how you can extract meaningful insights from data that you see and if you make it second nature and pick up some more mad skills then we have a good day scientist I think
