martin bosuh and I'm machine learning engineer at whisper the most exciting thing is to see all those other companies and see what they're working on there's just so much more data that is becoming available now I think there's been more data collected in the last two years and in the entire history of mankind before that so there and there's lots of opportunities there to use machine learning and do interesting things with that data and discover patterns I just want to give an overview of how we've been tackling this particular problem of suggesting images to the based on the text of the post and I think what is interesting is that we actually ended up using a deep learning model which is very generic and can be used for lots of different kinds of problems I just think you will need to keep learning and for for data science there's a lot of research going on that you need to follow I need to understand the basic math to understand that and then keep practicing it on platforms like Cagle where you can get practical experience with working with data cells
