I'm Lucas I'm the CEO and founder of crowd flower I think there's an awesome audience it was super technical people I'm kind of used to speaking to a lot of people who are interested in data science but have them kind of become part of the field yet but it was really fun to be with people who are kind of deep in it and really engaged why is data cool and exciting I've always thought data's gone exciting I think I think that there's a lot of data available that wasn't in the past and so you can do really interesting things you can do before so how to become a data scientist I think step one is learn to program get your hands on some data and do something interesting I think there's so many amazing data sets available through government or through the internet that hasn't been analyzed yet and so there's so much to discover and I think that I think that you know becoming great data scientist is is doing a lot of interesting data analyses so you know I think you're spending some time analyzing interesting data sets it's good for the world and good for your career
