my name is Francois gilbere I'm an attorney with Greenberg Traurig it's a law firm oh it's very exciting to be part of our evolution the data by the bay is an opportunity for the convergence between so many different professions to think about the issues and how to address them in a practical way it's the power that data have that that is cool it's what you can do with it but it's exciting and scary because you can do very good things and you can do very damaging things I I would like them to think of that their job is not in a vacuum that it has many many relations with with different types of issues and in particular as a lawyer I think of the legal issues and unfortunately the legal issues may look like they are hampering the progress of a big data but we can find a way to for example through codes of conduct and more greater awareness of ethical obligations and also of existing laws to improve the work and make it make it work for everybody do you have any advice on how to become a data scientist be a good human being learn about life and never forget your passion
