[Music] I'm autumn Kulkarni I'm the chief scientist and co-founder at lead genius [Music] the most exciting thing about speaking at data by today has to be the diversity of questions and attendees I really got to talk with people from a number of different disciplines people II know a lot about the space that we work in and who had great ideas and questions about the problems that are working on I think today we have more data available to us than ever before and the tools to get access to that information to draw insights from that data and to make interesting and novel insights about our world is really a great opportunity I hope they understand that the face of sales being changed by data and that many of the techniques that we thought that only human sales people could do are now in the reach of software and machines how to become a data scientist the first thing you have to do is get a data set and start playing with it the second thing you should do is make sure that you know the techniques that are going to be the most common the best for the kinds of data you're dealing with to become a really great data scientist I think you have to hit the books a little bit learn a little bit about the techniques that are at the cutting edge and understand what the right tools are for the right problems [Music]
