Alan McClain and i work at Fitbit i'm a senior dana data visualization designer met some interesting people already a chance to talk dataviz with other people interested in the field i think in the world of health there's all kinds of interesting things we can do with data we can guide patients toward better outcomes we can encourage people to live healthier lives live longer better lives well I think knowing what you're trying to say is the most important thing knowing what users users want to hear is the most important thing when you're trying to talk to a user about their health I'll not a data scientist but I mean I think in the world of data you've got to be curious so really posturing that curiosity and asking why why why all the time is really important
