you [Music] you [Music] I'm not really sure honestly I it's a turn that I tried to stay away from for a long time but it got so popular they ended up using it particularly cuz there's a nice domain I we work in deep learning that has a very clear definition in a clear area so so I that's my focus is on deep learning I guess I I everybody has their own sense of what it might be and not for me to tell them what it is I mean machine learning what generally has been super successful for a long time like Google really was one of the first to show how you can almost go to company on the back of machine learning think a lot of Amazon successes being from machine learning so now all those things like recommendation systems after filtering used a lot in fraud and credit so you know random forests gradient boosting machines that kind of stuff is you know very successful crap still not quite as widely used as it should be but still you know very widely used more recently of course we've seen the rise of deep learning and again Google's been perhaps the leader there I'm along with baidu and that's clearly been incredibly successful in anything involving images and starting to find its way in natural language processing as well my focus is a razor-sharp on making deep learning more accessible so it's currently very exclusive area and there's a lot of people who have an interest in kicking it exclusive they want you to believe you need lots of data lots of GPUs lots of math lots of years of education I don't think any of those things are true and our mission is to prove that [Music] you
