you [Music] you well artificial intelligence for me is any adaptive behavior by a machine so a machine that's adapting to its environment to me is intelligent and it's artificial kisses the machine at Sony that means adapting to the users typically what behaviors they're performing and having some sense that we want them to have a wonderful experience throughout that gaming a moment and there's lots of ways that that can go bad but there's a lot of ways they can be good so navigating that space to get them to where they want to be adapting to that there's a lot of incredible successes in a I recently especially with classification and regression and basically making some simple predictions certainly through a deep learning we've heard of the some of the amazing successes but the task is still fairly simple their classification and regression estimating predicting some some value that continues to to work really well the the future holds the need for structure predictions predicting an entire sentence in the future is the next step and that's what I'm working on well for me its language and semantics that's what keeps me up at night in a good way typically trying to understand visualize what these algorithms are going through and hardly representing semantics inside their representational space is what is one of the current research challenges and we're almost on the cusp of putting in vector spaces and coins and space to represent fairly complex concepts but that we're not quite there yet so that's what keeps me excited it's AI by the bay such a varied concept but it's it's sort of the right time because of all the progress and medic medicine and in autonomous driving and also just online so the time is right and this is there really one of the hotbeds for AI so it's great to see this form [Music] you
