Transcript: Gabriela de Queiroz, f02 labs, on Reliable AI — Interview with Alexy

My name is Gabriella Deerz. I am the founder of F-02 Labs where I work with startups on the AI strategy, the strategy around developer relation and everything from product feedback on how to put the developer relation team in action to be successful. So a professional highlight on working with AI, it's been a crazy journey actually. I feel like there's a lot of like highlight and low lights in some ways, but for me the highlight is being able to work or use AI to help me in different pieces where it was very manual where I had to do a lot of like revision and like even like small things like English is not my first language. So I use AI to help me on writing emails and write drafts for me. So I don't have to spend several minutes for every email that I have to respond. So that's the the I would say the most used use case for me. Reliable AI for me it's around trustworthy is making sure that whatever AI you have in your system it could be AI agent it could be AI models that you have guard rails in place. That's the first one. The second piece around transparency if possible explanability it's a little bit hard uh but making sure that your whole process is transparent that you know what is happening behind the scenes and not in this blackbox way you have no idea what is happening. So for the community aspect on reliable AI I would say that everything starts with educating people the importance of the topic. Before building anything as a community, we need to educate and make this more like awareness like we show the community that this exists. There is this whole domain or area of like reliability in AI or reliable AI uh I should say. Uh so it's all bringing awareness first step. The second step would be educating the community around the issues and how to make sure that your AI is reliable. And then the third piece would be is there anything that we should be doing to make sure that the system that we have in different projects are reliable. The AI stack in five years I have no idea. There is no way to predict what is happening because things are moving so fast. I don't even know what is happening tomorrow to be honest. Every day there is a new feature. There is a new capability. there is a new issue. Uh it feels like every day in the AI time we are living like five years ahead. So it's very hard to predict. I have no idea.
