Steve Anderson, founder of NarraViz, an agentic data visualization platform that gets people to insight in seconds, on reliable AI at AI By the Bay 2025. He has worked across industries from the NBA to government, retail, and financial services; the most meaningful was using statistics and machine-learning models to shape California health-care policy, saving the state money and making people healthier. Reliable AI does a task reliably, securely, and safely, creates value for humans, keeps a human in the loop, and is transparent and explainable.
