An Introduction to NLP4L

Evening talk at a Lucidworks-hosted Lucene/Solr meetup at Cloudera's California St. office in San Francisco, given the same day as (but separate from and unaffiliated with) his By-the-Bay conference talk. His own trip report describes presenting second on the bill after a Cloudera engineer, to roughly 30 attendees including Lucene/Solr committer Erick Erickson, with a version of the NLP4L material reworked to go deeper on learning-to-rank and personalized search.
