Jason Plurad, Laquicia S. Barbee, Ryan A. Boyles, Joseph E. Firebaugh, Jason C. Plurad · 5 inventors totalMultidimensional Web Page Ruler
US20090150793A1 · Individual · Source: google-patentsA method, system and computer-usable medium are disclosed for managing the spatial coordinates and visual attributes of objects within a user interface (UI). A Web UI ruler is executed within a UI comprising a plurality of objects. A first object and second object are selected. The Web UI Ruler then collects the spatial coordinate and visual attribute values for the first and second object and their relationship values are determined. The spatial coordinate and visual attribute values for the first and second objects, along with their corresponding relationship values, are modified and the modifications are applied to the target objects. The values are then stored in the Web UI ruler. These values can then be subsequently applied to one or more target objects. Alternatively, the stored values are exported as a cascading style sheet (CSS) class, which can then likewise be subsequently applied to one or more target objects.

Angie Jones, Angela Richards Jones, Ruthie D. Lyle · 3 inventors totalMethod to Send Related Information to Indirect Email Recipients
US20090049139A1 · Individual · Source: google-patentsA method, system, and computer-usable medium are disclosed for managing the sending of electronic mail (email) messages and responding to requests from indirect recipients for related information. An email message is originated with a first recipient and a recipient request prompt, which comprises a unique recipient request identifier (ID) linking it to the originator's email address. An empty recipient request list is generated, likewise linked to the recipient request ID. The message is then sent to a first recipient, who in turn forwards it to a second recipient. The recipient response prompt is displayed to the second recipient, who uses it to generate a recipient request for related information. The recipient request ID of the originated message and the second recipient's email address is appended to the recipient request, which is then sent to the message originator. The recipient request is received by the email system and parsed. The second recipient's email address is then appended to the recipient request list corresponding to the parsed recipient request ID. The originator is notified of the recipient request and responds accordingly.

If a predetermined computer operation is to be modified, a second user gesture opens a dialog box allowing the user to perform predetermined modifications. Previously completed computer operations that are subsequent to the modified operation are reversed and computer operations are then restarted, beginning with the modified computer operation.
Angie Jones, Angela Richards Jones, David L. Kaminsky, Ana C. Biazetti · 4 inventors totalSystems and methods providing lightweight runtime code generation
US7219329B2 · Microsoft Corporation · Source: google-patentsThe present invention relates to systems and methods that facilitate dynamic programming language execution in a managed code environment. A runtime code generator is provided within the framework of a managed object environment. The code generator includes a class allocator that reserves one or more method slots for a dynamic method call. A dynamic method builder then employs the method slots to generate an intermediate language stream that forms a method description. The method description is then fed to a Just-In-Tine (JIT) compiler that returns at least one dynamically generated pointer to facilitate execution of the dynamic method call at runtime.
