A mobile remote communication device configured to sense data encoded on a surface of a print medium and print a security identification on the print medium. The device includes a medium supply path, a sensor module on the medium supply path to sense encoded data including a print medium identifier, means to discriminate the print medium identifier from the data, and a printer module.
