Spotting the Difference: A Source Code Comparison Tool

M.Sc. thesis underlying the Software: Practice and Experience article. It introduces Vision, a single-pane source code comparison tool in which common text is shown once and differences are merged into a single readable text, with difference classification, fine-grained granularity and intelligent white space handling, and evaluates it against Eclipse's two-pane comparison in a 16-participant usability experiment.
