Speaker's short bio.

Frederick Kautz is a Senior Principal Software Engineer in the Office of the CTO at Red Hat and a Co-Organizer of Scala Bay. In previous positions, He was the CTO of a big data company and maintained a complex build system in the Java world. He has been writing scala professionally and has been active in the community since 2009.
