Join us! ----- Alexis Roos SalesforceIQ Sr Engineering Manager Palo Alto Alexis has over 20 years of software engineering and management experience with emphasis in large scale data science and engineering along with application infrastructure. As an engineering manager at Salesforce, Alexis is managing all back-end engineering for Salesforce IQ CRM which ingests and processes in real-time and in batch a large amount of enterprise data and exposes intelligent features such as scoring and recommendations using data engineering and machine learning. Tech stack include Java 8, NoSQL, Hadoop, Storm and Spark/Scala. Prior to Salesforce, Alexis was an Engineering Manager at Radius Intelligence where he led the team of data scientists and data engineers architecting and building Radius business graph data engineering and machine learning pipeline which models over 20 million businesses in the US, created from over 7 billion records from dozens of sources using Spark, GraphX, MLLib and Scala technologies. Prior, Alexis worked for Concurrent Inc, Couchbase, Sun Microsystems/Oracle for 13 years and large SIs in Europe. Alexis holds a Master's Degree in CS with a focus on Cognitive Sciences.
