Join us! ----- Tim Kral leads the machine learning team at Medium where he works on automated article quality assessment systems and building out Medium's big data and machine learning infrastructure in Scala and Spark. Previously, he was working with Scala as the principle architect at YesPath, a marketing tech startup which used big data to do marketing analysis and make real-time marketing decisions. Before that, he was a principle engineer working on automated data centers at Salesforce. In his spare time, Tim is developing a micro-services framework which allows for easy statup and fast iterations of Scala and Java backend applications, brewing beer, reading to his daughter, and playing with his cat.
