In Unison, services are represented as typed functions which can be called from other services almost as if they were local functions: without any serialization or networking boilerplate. Furthermore, these services can talk to new kinds of typed, durable storage, also without serialization boilerplate. We'll introduce these ideas and more and show a demo of developing several services in this style.
