She majorly works on designing and developing Machine Learning based solutions for Sunbird, an open-source, ed-tech platform being developed by Ekstep for govt of India. She leads the team in building Machine Learning Infrastructure, and in solving problems concerned with adaptive learning such as Content Auto Tagging for adaptive and Recommendation Engines, with a focus on NLP in the Indian language. She is also a guest faculty for Information design at the National Institute of Design. Before working on the Sunbird, Adarsa worked with an early-stage startup, Rplus Analytics to develop a cloud-based Demand Forecasting solution in the retail domain. She has also worked as a Business and Technology Analyst with Deloitte India. She is a speaker at Deeptext.ai IEEE CS India and GHCI2019. She completed her M.Tech from DAIICT in 2014 where her thesis was based on feature extraction for the detection of synthetic and natural speech. She completed her B.tech in ECE from Amrita School of Engineering in 2011.
