Managing confidential data on a public blockchain.

We present a real-life use case for proxy re-encryption in the context of the Unicorn Bay solution. Unicorn Bay is a blockchain solution for the Asset management industry where we keep track of portfolio management strategies and classic assets trading operations. These are highly strategic information for our clients and as such should remain confidential. Keeping the right balance between a fully decentralized architecture and private data requires a method for encrypting data and having access control on that data. In order to solve this issue we use proxy re-encryption.
