Phil Monroe is a Senior Software Engineer/Product Owner in the Relevance Engineering team at Workday. At Workday, he helps manage and create RESTful services using Scala and Dropwizard that are consumed by the rest of the Workday application. Prior to Workday, he built Hadoop pipelines for classifying Facebook users using Scalding, Scala, Solr and Ruby on Rails at Identified.
